Thank you for your reservation. Welcome to enjoy your holiday at Farm Tourism Jänisvaara. To ensure that your stay is a success in every respect, please read our booking and cancellation terms below.
Farm Tourism Jänisvaara adheres to the following terms and conditions when booking and cancelling holiday cottages. These terms and conditions become binding on both parties when the customer has made a prepayment for the holiday cottage they have booked, or has paid both the prepayment and the final payment at once. The prepayment and the final payment must be paid by the due dates stated on the invoice. For last-minute bookings (less than 4 weeks before the start of the accommodation), all payments will be charged immediately. If the customer has to cancel their booking, they must notify us immediately by email or telephone. Failure to pay the advance or final payment does not mean cancellation of the reservation, and does not release the booker from these cancellation conditions.
If the reservation is made more than 4 weeks before the rental date, the customer will be sent an invoice in two parts: a reservation fee of €100.00 for the rent and a final invoice for the total amount (due date 30 days before the start of the holiday). If there are less than 30 days left before the reservation, the payment will be charged in one installment. If the invoice is not paid by the due date, Maatilamatkailu Jänisvaara has the right to cancel the reservation immediately.
The booker must be of legal age.

Cancellations

Cancellation must always be made in writing. If the cancellation is late or does not arrive at all, the cancellation can be accepted if the customer shows that the cancellation has been made and sent to the correct address at the correct time. The advance payment will be withheld from the cancellation of the reservation. If the reservation is cancelled later than 30 days before the start of the holiday, the entire rent will be charged. We recommend taking out travel insurance.

Farm Tourism Jänisvaara's right to cancel the reservation

In the event of force majeure, we may terminate the agreement. We are obliged to notify the customer of this immediately. In such a case, the customer has the right to receive a full refund of the rent paid by Farm Tourism Jänisvaara.

Compensation for damages
The customer is obliged to compensate for any damage caused to the holiday destination or its movable property.

Number of people/Staying in the cottage
The holiday destination may be used by no more than the number of people stated in the holiday destination description as the number of beds or as agreed upon when booking the holiday destination. For example, parties and other events where the number of people in the accommodation facility is temporarily exceeded must be announced and agreed in advance. The use of a hot tub, caravan or tent on the property must be agreed in advance. Travel cots and high chairs are available on request for all accommodation facilities.

Charging of electric and hybrid cars is not included in the rent
Import of motorhomes and caravans must be agreed in advance, electricity use is not included in the rent.

Possible complaints
All comments and complaints regarding the equipment and condition of the accommodation facility must be addressed directly to the owner immediately after their cause arises. Complaints made subsequently will not be taken into account. . Forgotten items will be mailed to the customer upon request. The customer is responsible for the costs incurred in sending them.

Right to change prices
If the customer is charged an incorrect amount due to a technical error in the system, the cottage owner has the right to invoice the correct amount.

Customer's obligations and handover of the holiday home on the day of departure
The key is available for use at 4:00 PM on the day of arrival and must be handed over by 12:00 PM on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed.
The customer is responsible for lost keys to the holiday home. The customer is responsible for the costs of installing new locks and having keys made.
Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of the accommodation. The accommodation must be left in a clean condition upon departure. The customer is responsible for cleaning the holiday home during and at the end of the holiday, unless the final cleaning has been paid in advance. The customer is liable for the costs of cleaning the holiday home if smoking has taken place inside the holiday home or if cleaning has not been carried out or has been carried out inadequately and the holiday home caretaker/owner has to take care of it before the next customer arrives.

Instructions for handing over the keys will be sent to the customer's email after making the reservation.
