Escape to the small farmer's yard. You have your own traditional fenced area of just under 1 ha in the middle of the forest. The forest hut is located approx. 700m from Jänisvaara Farm Tour and 10 km from Koli National Park. The main building with a hut and a chamber is at your disposal at the forest hut. The yard has two barns, a wood-fired sauna, a smoke sauna (heated by the house staff and costs 100.00e/heating session) and a stone cellar. There are sleeping places for four people in the barns and two people in the hut. Pets are welcome in the small farmer's yard. The hut is equipped with dishes, a radio, a refrigerator, an electric stove, an oven and electric lights. A dry toilet and a thermal composter are at the end of the yard. Domestic water is pumped in the old-fashioned way from the well in the yard to the shore of Lake Pielinen 4km away, where you can use a lean-to and a boat or canoe. The beach is located approx. 4km away. PLEASE NOTE that during the winter season, reservations must be made a week in advance
