Jänisvaara is a great value for money. The cottage had everything you needed, the scenery was nice and above all the farm's hostess and host were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was more than worth the price. I highly recommend it. You can also order delicious Karelian pies baked by the hostess and the farm's blackcurrant juice.

The best possible place to really relax. The water from the well tasted good, no need to buy from the store. There are various wild animals wandering in the forest and also in the forest near the cottage, such as badgers, cuckoos, woodpeckers and a few deer.

The location of the cottage was ideal and peaceful. It was great to cook food in the grill house and at the same time admire the beautiful lake landscape.
The lakeside sauna and hot tub were not tried on this trip, but they are a good addition to the comfort of the cottage. It was a short trip to Koli and there were shops nearby. Warm recommendations as a holiday destination, even with a larger group or family.
